Marriage counselling?
Does Marriage Counselling help at all, do they tell you what to do or they just seat there and listen to you spill your brains.. Would they be honest enough as to tell you to end a marriage.. I am thinking of going to one and the thing is that i do not want to be told to try and work things out.
It depends on the counseling theory the counselor uses. If they are more psychodymanic they will do more listening than talking. If they are from a more Cognitive Behavioral school they will be more interactive with you. I would recommend it. You can ask the person these questions when you make the appointment.
