How often should you work-out your abs? Every day or two to three times a week just like other muscles?
I’m a runner, and I need solid abs for distance running. I also want to get rid of those annoying cramps at my sides.

Your abdominal muscles and your calf muscles are the two muscle groups that CAN be worked every day and get results. All other muscle groups in the body should have 48 hours of rest between workouts in order to allow the catabolic process of breakdown/rebuild.
